The AWS account the aws-* packs talk to, set up the way the AWS SDK is set up for the real services.
Register the account once; every aws-* step of the scenario uses it:
Given the parcels aws account with the following properties: | region | eu-west-1 | | endpoint | http://localhost:4566 |Without credentials in the table, the SDK finds them as it always does: the AWS_* environment variables, the shared files, then the container or instance role. AWS_ENDPOINT_URL is honored too, so the same features run against AWS and against an emulator. Values expand ${env:..} and ${sys:..}.
Add it to a project with axx pack add aws-core.
aws-core.account
Section titled “aws-core.account”Given the {word} aws account with the following properties: | property | value |The table may start with the row naming its columns, as above, or go straight to its rows.
Register the AWS account the aws-* steps talk to.
- The first account registered is the default.
- Without
access key idandsecret access key, the SDK finds credentials as it always does: theAWS_*environment variables, the shared files, then the container or instance role. - Values expand
${env:..}and${sys:..}, so the same features run against AWS and against an emulator.
